Sailera Yachting offers a boat rental service known as Bareboat Charter.
The term Bareboat Charter refers to a method of renting a boat in which the renter assumes full management and operation of the vessel. The lessor rents the boat only for a specified period and does not provide any additional services related to the use of the boat (such as a captain, crew, fuel, or food). Additional services can be provided optionally for a fee. When requesting a crew, the boat's cabin/berth and toilet capacity should be considered.
In a Bareboat Charter, the rental period is generally one week or multiples thereof, with boarding on Saturday and returning to the docking place on the following Friday evening or, if rented one-way, returning to the port specified in the contract. Disembarkation occurs on Saturday morning.
Depending on availability, rentals for less than a week can also be arranged.
As can be understood from the explanations above, in the Bareboat Charter rental method, the responsibility for the use of the boat, route selection, whether meals are prepared on board or eaten in restaurants, cleaning the boat, and maintenance/care lies with the renter.
